Hollywood celebrities Ke Huy Quan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Kerry Condon, and Rosa Salazar have joined RRR actor Jr NTR in being inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' class of actors, the organization's official Instagram page stated on Wednesday.

The Academy posted clips of each of the Oscar-winning actors' performances on Instagram, saying, "In the capable hands of these dedicated and gifted performers, stories transcend the confines of imagination, taking on a tangible, visceral existence that captivates viewers around the world."

According to the page, the actors' "nuanced expressions, compelling gestures, and authentic portrayals" bring certain characters to life so that viewers may relate to their "struggles," "joys," and "triumphs" through them.
The board of governors must provide an invitation for membership in the actor's branch, according to the Oscars' official website. Actors who are "active in the motion picture arts and sciences, or credited with screen achievements, or who have otherwise achieved distinction in the motion picture arts and sciences" are the only ones who are allowed to join the branch, according to the statute.

With SS Rajamouli's RRR, which also starred Ram Charan, Jr. NTR gained international notoriety. At the 80th Golden Globe Awards, which were held in Los Angeles earlier this year, the song Naatu Naatu from the movie earned both an Oscar and a prize. This year's Critics Choice Movie Awards in Los Angeles saw it take up two additional prizes, including Best Foreign Language Film and Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu.

"The Academy is thrilled to welcome Ke Huy Quan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Kerry Condon, N.T. Rama Rao Jr., and Rosa Salazar to the Actors Branch," the Academy wrote on Instagram.
