In the trailer for Venky Atluri's next film Lucky Baskhar, which was released by the producers on Friday, Dulquer Salmaan's middle-class banker suddenly finds himself in possession of a substantial sum of money and gold, leaving everyone around him perplexed as to how he became wealthy so quickly.

The one-minute, 19-second teaser opens with Baskhar introducing himself as a “common, middle-class, Indian man” who is fed up with the grind of daily existence. He gets up every morning, gets ready for work, and consistently makes it to work ahead of traffic. Because he counts other people's money while living in poverty, his existence is uninteresting.

Everyone around him is shocked when he finds a suitcase filled with gold and cash one day, leaving them wondering how a regular banker could amass such a substantial amount of money. Meenakshi Chaudhary, who plays Baskhar's love interest in the movie, is also depicted in the teaser.

"Middle-class mindset, please. Scenes showing Baskhar putting the cash notes within barrels and flower vases are intercut with a scene when he assures his boss, "We spend less and save every penny." With a cunning look on his face, he continues, "But if we are determined, we spend every penny without thinking like spendthrifts."

The teaser ends with a glimpse of Baskhar's bank account statement, which quickly drops from Rs 6 crore to nothing.

"A glimpse into the remarkable story of #LuckyBaskhar," Dulquer captioned the Instagram post containing the teaser. The #LuckyBaskharTeaser is currently available in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi.
