Kuldeep Vows to Work Harder After World Cup Disappointment

On Thursday, India's spinner Kuldeep Yadav acknowledged that the disappointment of losing to Australia in the World Cup final will stay with him and motivate him to put in more effort for the "next opportunity."

On November 19, India lost to Australia by six wickets during their summit match in Ahmedabad.

"Although the outcome of our journey from Chennai to Ahmedabad was disappointing, we are proud of the accomplishments we made during the six weeks." In a post on X, Kuldeep stated, "We're determined to work harder for the next opportunity despite the pain."

"Life goes on, and healing takes time, even though the anguish of defeat lingers,"

However, the wrist spinner acknowledged that handling the setback was difficult. Although the Cup was exquisite, it appears that God had other ideas. As we navigate this moment, it's time to disconnect and refuel. It's difficult to deal with this setback, but we maintain our faith and hope for the trip ahead," he remarked.

Kuldeep participated in all 11 of India's World Cup games and claimed 15 wickets at a 28.26 average.

"We were fully prepared for every opponent because of our committed support staff, and their dedication reassured us as players," Kuldeep said.

"We were inspired to push ourselves beyond our comfort zones by the affection we received from the audience at each of the nine sites. We appreciate the support of our ardent followers everywhere, including in every Indian household.
