Marvel Studios Drops New Trailer and Poster for "Deadpool & Wolverine" Featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman

The movie Deadpool & Wolverine, which stars Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, has tickets available now. Marvel Studios has commemorated the event by releasing a new promotional film and poster for the upcoming multiversal adventure that will bring Hugh Jackman's Logan Howlett/Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson/Deadpool back together on screen.

A slow-motion photo of Deadpool and Wolverine strolling past damaged businesses while Madonna's "Like a Prayer" plays introduces the minute-long teaser. From then on, everything goes crazy: Wolverine throws Deadpool through a car roof after he says he's "soaking wet." In a hilarious turn of events, Deadpool's knife also finds up in Wolverine's behind.

A Doctor Strange-style interdimensional doorway and Ant-Man's helmet are just two of the many Marvel Easter eggs hidden throughout the teaser.

There's an unexpected Easter egg in the most recent trailer: a QR code. When scanned, it opens to a humorous video where Reynolds introduces the movie with a "disclaimer."

Reynolds states, "We're very excited to be joining you July 26," in the video, setting the tone for the movie. I know a lot of you are thrilled. But the table needs to be carefully arranged. This movie is as thin as a Battlefield Earth 2 follow-up. We're primarily going to lose our minds over each other, turn Disney into our enemies, crack a few dick jokes, joke about myself, Hugh, and everything but comply with Marvel's required after-credits sequence—which, in case you haven't guessed, is always just a commercial for some other film that will inevitably close with another commercial.

So take a seat back, unwind, and allow us to elevate your heart rate and drop your IQ as we transport you to a dull Dreamland, where mature men and women stroll around in tights and pretend that this isn't a massive cultural cry for assistance. "CINEMA, this is it," Reynolds ends.

Along with the returning cast members of Deadpool, including Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Rob Delaney as Peter, and Lewis Tan as Shatterstar, Deadpool & Wolverine also stars Matthew Macfadyen as Paradox and Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova.
