Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire, which was originally slated to debut on Netflix on December 22, will now receive a special release on December 21, the director revealed via a social media post.

"On December 21 at 7 p.m. PT, Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire will receive a special early release exclusively on Netflix." "Let the countdown commence," the director of Justice League posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday.

On December 22, at 8.30 a.m., Netflix will stream the movie in India.

Fans eager for the movie's release on the streaming service responded to Snyder's post. The majority of fans expressed their excitement, but some also asked for the special director's cut to be released ahead of schedule.

Starring Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, and Ed Skrein, Rebel Moon was first intended to be a standalone film within the Star Wars franchise. The film Rebel Moon –Part Two: The Scargiver is already set for release on April 19, 2024.
