Mayank Yadav: Rising Star and Unfortunate Setback
Injury Sidelines Young Fast Bowler in IPL
Justin Langer, the head coach of the Lucknow Super Giants, announced on Saturday that young Mayank Yadav, who dominated this IPL with his blistering pace, will not play again due to a lower abdominal injury.
We'll be hoping that Mayank can participate in the playoffs, but I also accept reality. The night before the Super Giants' home game against the Kolkata Knight Riders, Langer stated, "It'll probably be tough for him to get up for the back-end of the tournament."
Langer claims that Mayank tore in the exact spot where he had been hurt before. "A scan has been performed on him. In the same region as his previous injury, he has a tiny tear. It's really regrettable, the former head coach of Australia remarked.
Even Jasprit Bumrah has informed Mayank, according to Langer, about the injuries that pacers will have to deal with. "After Tuesday's match against the Mumbai Indians, Bumrah informed him that injuries are a part of being a young fast bowler."
