Prithviraj Sukumaran's Survival Thriller Crosses Rs 50 Crore Mark Globally

Prithviraj Sukumaran's survival thriller "The Goat Life" has brought in over Rs 50 crore globally, the film's producers said on Sunday.

The real-life tale of Najeeb (Sukumaran), a Malayali immigrant laborer who is forced into slavery as a goatherd on a remote Saudi Arabian farm, is depicted in the Malayalam movie.

Benyamin's 2008 best-selling book "Aadujeevitham" served as the basis for Blessy's film. It debuted on television on Friday.

Sukumaran shared the box office news on his official X page. Sukumaran is also handling the Malayalam distribution of "The Goat Life" via Prithviraj Productions.

The actor posted a poster on social media with the hashtags "#Aadujeevitham #TheGoatLifeInCinema @DirectorBlessy @benyamin_bh @arrahman @Amala_ams @Haitianhero @rikaby @resulp @iamkrgokul @HombaleFilms @AAFilmsIndia @PrithvirajProd @RedGiantMovies_ @Magic_Frames @ListinStephen."

Produced by Visual Romance, "The Goat Life" also stars Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby, and Amala Paul and K.R. Gokul in important parts.
