The three-minute teaser for the next thriller directed by Sumeet Saahil, which was released by the actor himself on Sunday, promises an exhilarating trip from beginning to end.

The teaser, which compares them to a deck of cards, sets the mood with a menacing voiceover by Ankush's character introducing a group of dubious people in Kolkata's shadowy underworld. In the film, Rishi Kaushik plays a policeman tasked with busting a narcotics trafficking ring in Kolkata. As the ace in this high-stakes card game, Kaushik Ganguly rules as Sultan, while Shoaib Kabeer's Azhar is referred to as the drug trade's Badshah.

Ankush's Mirza, a tough-looking guy with sharp, kohl-lined eyes, shows up as the unexpected hero. He is a rule-breaker who would much rather forge his own way in this dangerous environment. In the middle of all the chaos and carnage, Mirza develops feelings for the character played by Oindrila Sen, who encourages her to replace Sultan in the illegal enterprise.

Ankush's first feature film, Mirza, will be released on April 12 in honor of Eid.
