Rahul Gandhi Launches a Scathing Attack on Modi in Rajasthan Rallies

Rahul Gandhi, who on Thursday was mocked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as "Murkhon ka Sardar," advised people to make their own decisions on how to evaluate a leader who had urged Indians to drum on the "thali" and beam their cell phone flashlights during their struggle with the Covid outbreak.

Rahul presented the Prime Minister with the cold hard facts while speaking at three public rallies in Rajasthan. "Modi asked them to bang the thali when people were dying due to an oxygen crisis and lack of treatment," he said. "Thali, taali, bajao..." "Turn on the cell phone light. What does this mean?" the Congressman questioned, to applause from the assembly.

Rahul went on, "Have you seen Modi with a farmer, a laborer, or holding the hand of a small shopkeeper in the last ten years?" You will not. He travels in a car valued at Rs 12 crore and an airplane valued at Rs 12,000 crore. He gets dressed in different clothing every day, and you can see him posing with Adani in a picture. You see him visiting America and giving their President a hug. He erased businessmen' debts of Rs. 14.50 lakh crore.

Rahul claimed that the Prime Minister believes that farmers, young people without jobs, and laborers are "murkh" (fools), claiming that Modi mainly served the wealthy despite making several pledges to win over the underprivileged.

We now learn about Modi's assurance. Did he guarantee Rs. 15 lakh for each account? Les gays? Know it but don't know it? You'll never understand it. Has the illicit money disappeared? He assures Adani that he will have whatever he desires. He rose from 609th on the worldwide list to the second-richest guy in the world thanks to Modi.

A few days before, Modi had referred to Rahul as a “Murkhon ka Sardar.” On Wednesday, at a rally in Rajasthan, he said, “The Congress people are worried, what if the locker gets opened? The locker will be unlocked, revealing cash and gold that have been taken from the populace. What do you think—should these folks face punishment or not? Issan ke nishan par aise button dabao, saza pakki ho jaye aise button dabao ki unki. Press the button on the lotus to confirm their penalty. Jaise unko fansi de rahe ho na. As if you were hanging them, press it.)

The Prime Minister received a lot of backlash for urging voters to behave like hangmen. In addition to calling his rivals thieves and remaining silent about allegations of corruption against BJP leaders, Modi has also attempted to inflame tensions within the community regarding the murder of an Udaipur tailor by two Muslim men last year, allegedly due to a social media post that included remarks disparaging the Prophet Muhammad. Additionally, Modi has been reminding people that curfews, terrorists, and riots prevent them from celebrating holidays.

Nonetheless, the Congress has continued to concentrate on the everyday problems that impact the average person. While Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot listed his accomplishments, including public health facilities, schools, colleges, bridges, irrigation projects, free rations, and health insurance, Rahul discussed the welfare agenda and the promises made by the Congress in addition to outlining Modi's political background and his purported affiliation with Adani. He also discussed the injustice done to OBCs and the caste census.

In response to reports of a disorganized campaign and the belief that Sachin Pilot and Gehlot disagree, the Congress leadership has made a significant late push in Rajasthan. On Wednesday, K.C. Venugopal, the organization's general secretary, was sent to Jaipur to resolve issues and close gaps. He summoned Pilot and Gehlot to a meeting.

On Thursday morning, Rahul arrived in the state and made sure Gehlot and Pilot were seen together. "We are not only seen together, we are one and will remain united," he said to the media. We're going to win the election handily.

Gehlot and Pilot stayed on the stage with Rahul at all three of the gatherings in Ganganagar, Churu, and Hanumangarh. The intention was to convey a sense of solidarity.

A week before the campaign comes to a conclusion on November 23, Rahul will spend the next three days in Rajasthan, although Priyanka and party president Mallikarjun Kharge are also anticipated to speak at gatherings. As indications indicate a tight contest in several seats, the Congress wants to increase the intensity of the campaign in order to increase its prospects.
