The Crown Season 6 Teaser Shows Princess Diana's Struggle and Tragic Death
The final season of the Netflix drama will cover some of the most important moments in recent royal history.
The first teaser for the sixth and final season of the Netflix drama series The Crown was released on Thursday. It shows Elizabeth Debicki's Princess Diana struggling after her divorce from Prince Charles and her tragic death throwing the British royal family into disarray.
A peek of the aftermath of Princess Diana's (Elizabeth Debicki) divorce from Prince Charles (Dominic West) can be seen in the two minutes and twenty second trailer. Diana's constant battle with the paparazzi is depicted at the beginning of the film, followed by Diana's tragic vehicle accident and her two sons' grief, Prince Harry and Prince William. The video ends with the classic still of Diana in her blue bikini, reminding us of how difficult it was for the people's princess to keep any privacy even after her well-publicized divorce.

Season 6 of The Crown will cover some of the most important moments in recent royal history, from 1997 to 2005. The first four episodes of the season will be available on November 16; the release of the season will take place in two halves. On December 14, the final six episodes will be available for viewing.
Imelda Staunton, who plays Queen Elizabeth II, and Jonathan Pryce, who plays Prince Philip, are both members of The Crown ensemble cast.
