Two Police Constables Arrested for Misbehaving with Female Sub-Inspector in UP

Officials said on Thursday that two police constables had been detained for allegedly acting inappropriately with a female sub-inspector in the Chandausi neighborhood of this Uttar Pradesh district.
The two constables misbehaved with the female sub-inspector while she was driving home from work on Wednesday, according to Circle Officer Deepak Kumar.
He claimed that Pawan Chaudhary and Ravindra also threatened and verbally abused her.
On the basis of the woman's complaint, the police filed a FIR under sections 354 (intent to insult modesty) and 341 (wrongful restraint) of the Indian Penal Code and detained the suspect.
Kuldeep Singh Gunawat, the superintendent of police, has suspended both constables.
