Before the U-19 World Cup final, wicketkeeper Aravelly Avanish says he is not thinking about the IPL, but he can't stop talking about his future contract with the Chennai Super Kings, where he will get to meet Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

"I found it unbelievable that CSK had chosen me. Realizing that took some time. Our phone was ringing nonstop that day when I was at home, said the Hyderabad-born 18-year-old.

"I want to bring pride to the CSK family and Dhoni Sir." I'm not thinking about the IPL right now. I'll give it some thought after the match, but every cricket player hopes to play for CSK and for Dhoni Sir. Before the crucial match against Australia, Avanish, a software engineer's son, said, "It was a dream-come-true moment for me."

What knowledge does he want to get from Dhoni? "I want to learn from him about how to think under pressure... For example, how he utilizes his head to win matches when the team is under duress and not playing well.

His 2011 World Cup deciding game. Avanish expressed his immense love for the former captain of India, saying, "There is so much to learn from him."

He wants to question Dhoni about sticking with the spinners as well. "I also want to learn how to effect stumping as quickly as possible and how to keep to spinners."

Avanish's favorite players are not only Dhoni but also the legendary Adam Gilchrist of Australia. "My favorite of all time is Gilchrist. I've gained a lot of knowledge by viewing his videos. His understanding of the game and his ability to maintain confidence in any circumstance... Although I haven't met him yet, I want to do so soon," he said.

He said, "We have come here to win the World Cup and up to this point we have executed the plans well," on his preparations for the U-19 championship. We are playing together, and maybe we will stay that way.
