Clash of Titans: Vijay Deverakonda's "Family Star" Goes Head-to-Head with Jr. NTR's "Devara: Part 1" on April 5
Release Date Showdown for Two Highly Anticipated Telugu Films
The April 5 release date of Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur's next Telugu romance drama has been locked in, putting it in conflict with Jr. NTR's Devara: Part 1 which is scheduled to open in theaters on the same day.
Family Star's producers, who also include Divyansha Kaushik, revealed the film's release date on Friday along with a Deverakonda poster. The poster was uploaded on the actor's social media accounts.

In the latest ad, Deverakonda—who was last seen in Kushi with Samantha Ruth Prabhu—is shown sprinting through the streets. The actor, wearing a lungi and a t-shirt, is wearing a serious expression while gripping a letter between his teeth.
Family Star, which is written and directed by Parasuram, is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
On the other hand, the producers of the Jr. NTR film Devara: Part 1 revealed the film's release date last year. On January 8, a trailer for Jr. NTR's action drama, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in prominent parts, was unveiled. It shows the actor in a vicious avatar.
The first installment of Devara, which is being directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
