Class 12 Student Dies in Suspected Accidental Fall from 18th-Floor Balcony in Noida Extension
Tragic Incident Unfolds Amidst Exam Season in Residential Complex
A Class 12 student passed away on Thursday, possibly as a result of an unintentional fall from the balcony of her apartment on the 18th floor of a group housing complex in Noida Extension, according to police.
According to officials, the event happened in the evening while the 18-year-old female was watering plants on the balcony.
"The girl, who was a Class 12 student, died on the spot after falling from the balcony in the Himalaya Pride Society in the Bisarkh police station area," according to a police spokesperson.
The spokeswoman said that after being informed of the event, a local police team raced to the scene to conduct an examination and that additional legal action had been taken.
The girl, whose parents are teachers, recently received the results of her most recent exam, which she passed, a top officer informed PTI.
"It appears that while watering the plants she slipped and fell off the balcony," stated the cop.
The event occurred one day after a Class 7 boy in a nearby society purportedly committed suicide by jumping from the 22nd story of his building in response to exam pressure.
