'Crew' Teaser: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu Navigate Unexpected Adventures

The trailer for Rajesh A Krishnan's women-focused drama Crew, which also stars comedian Kapil Sharma and singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, has Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu's fierce air hostesses meeting unforeseen events in the line of duty as they set out to accomplish their goals.

The one-minute, 38-second teaser, which the producers leaked on Saturday, opens with Tabu's voiceover alerting the passengers that it's about to become hot outdoors. It's a deft word play that suggests things will get hotter soon. The three air hostesses are then shown strolling through an airport while wearing blue caps and blood-red outfits. The actors are then seen griping about their everyday routines in fourth-wall breach sequences.

However, as their everyday tasks get easier, life becomes chaotic for the three of them. They are quickly drawn into a world of crime and schemes to make quick money. The teaser has several funny moments and sardonic comments from the three main women. It is set to the tune of the Khalnayak song Choli Ke Peeche.

The plot of the movie, according to an official IMDb summary, centers on three diligent women whose fates bring them into a web of deceit and unexpected scenarios.

Kareena debuted on Netflix last year in Sujoy Ghosh's film Jaane Jaan, costarring Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. She also featured in The Buckingham Murders by Hansal Mehta, which debuted internationally at the 67th BFI London Film Festival in October of last year.

While Tabu starred in Vishal Bhardwaj's Khufiya and Ajay Devgn's Bholaa, Kriti most recently starred with Shahid Kapoor in Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah's directorial debut, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

Crew, which is produced by Anil, Rhea, Ektaa R., and Shobha Kapoor, is scheduled to open in theaters on March 29.
