Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Tickets on Sale Now, New Trailer Released
Anya Taylor-Joy as Furiosa in Action-Packed Prequel, Out May 23 in India
Warner Bros. announced on Wednesday that tickets for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which opens in Indian theaters on May 23rd, are now available. The company also released a new teaser for the highly anticipated spinoff/prequel from the Mad Max universe.
"Observe the Magnificent Conflict for the Wasteland." The official X account for the movie posted a one and a half-minute clip along with the message, "Tickets are on sale NOW."
George Miller, the Academy Award-winning filmmaker of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth, is returning to the dystopian universe he first introduced more than three decades ago. This stand-alone, action-packed journey claims to reveal the legendary character's beginnings from the highly anticipated Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).

Alongside Hemsworth in the title character is Anya Taylor-Joy, with Tom Burke and Alyla Browne providing supporting turns.
The story of young Furiosa, taken from the Green Place of Many Mothers and placed in the hands of Warlord Dementus's fierce Biker Horde, is told in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. They come at The Immortan Joe's Citadel during their journey through the Wasteland. Furiosa must overcome a number of obstacles as these two despots compete for control while putting up a strategy to return home.
Miller writes the script alongside Nico Lathouris, who also co-wrote Mad Max: Fury Road. Under their Kennedy Miller Mitchell moniker, Miller and his longtime collaborator, Oscar-nominated producer Doug Mitchell, are the picture's directors. The film is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures.
