Former captain Sourav Ganguly is questioning why India prepares turning courses for home series when they have the pace attack to destroy any team on any surface after Jasprit Bumrah's amazing performance on the second day of the second Test in Visakhapatnam.

"I wonder why turning tracks are necessary in India when I see Bumrah, Shami, Siraj, and Mukesh bowl. With every game, my belief that I should play on excellent wickets grows.

Ganguly commented on X, "With Ashwin, Jadeja, Kuldeep, and Axar (for support), they will get 20 wickets on any surface."

"Pits in the previous six to seven years at home have resulted in a reduction in hitting quality...Good wickets are necessary.Over five days, India will still prevail.

During his years as captain, Sourav had always supported fast bowling, believing it to be the key to victory in foreign circumstances. Under his direction, players like Ajit Agarkar, Irfan Pathan, and Zaheer Khan achieved enormous success both domestically and internationally.
