India and Australia Set to Clash in T20 Series Following ODI World Cup Showdown
With an eye toward the T20 World Cup next year, both teams are eager to prove their mettle in the shorter format.
Australia's victory in the ODI World Cup is still fresh in their memories, while India is still recovering from their loss in Ahmedabad. Three days after such a significant game, the two countries play each other in a brand-new bilateral series. This time, the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam will host the T20 format, which is scheduled to begin on Thursday.
The two squads will also look different because most of the players from the 50-over extravaganza aren't available in their respective rosters. In terms of intensity, everybody in attendance will definitely want to leave a mark ahead of the 2019 T20 World Cup, which gets underway on June 4.
