Kartik Aaryan Earns Kudos for Performance in 'Chandu Champion'

Vicky Kaushal, Sharvari Wagh, Katrina Kaif, and other actors have also commended Kartik Aaryan for his depiction of Petkar. The biography of Murlikant Petkar, the first Paralympian champion of India, is the subject of the biographical drama Chandu Champion. Petkar competed for India in the Olympics and won a gold medal for himself in the 1972 Summer Paralympics. From his experiences as a boxer in the Indian Army to his accomplishments as a Paralympian swimmer, the movie chronicles his hardships and victories. Bhuvan Arora, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, and Brijendra Kala are also featured in the movie.

Following a lackluster first day of release, the sports drama experienced a notable upsurge at the box office throughout its opening weekend and maintained a steady pace throughout the weekdays. As a result, it concluded its first week in theaters with a domestic box office collection of Rs 39.62 crore nett, as per trade estimates.

Kartik is presently filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a horror comedy that also features Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri.
