Khalnayak cast reunites for Subhash Ghai and Mukta's wedding anniversary
Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and Anupam Kher attend the celebration
On Wednesday, the actors Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Madhuri Dixit, and Sanjay Dutt got back together to commemorate the wedding anniversary of their Khalnayak director, Subhash Ghai, and his wife, Mukta.
Khalnayak, which starred Madhuri's dance routines and the song Choli Ke Peeche, was released in 1993 and went on to become the second highest-grossing movie of that year.
Dr. Shriram Nene, Madhuri's husband, posted pictures of the group dining with the pair. "The company is what really makes the evening❤️ He wished "@subhashghai1 #MuktaGhai and to @muktaartsltd @anupampkher @duttsanjay @apnabhidu #aboutlastnight" a very happy wedding anniversary.
In one of the photos, Madhuri is pictured with her husband and Subhash on the balcony of the latter's Mumbai home, where they can see distant skyscrapers and the night sky. The other two were likewise dressed in black, but Madhuri is seen wearing a white boat-necked black dress.
Another photo features Anupam, Jackie, and Sanjay from Khalnayak together in Subhash's living room.
Madhuri and Nene took a selfie with Subhash and his spouse Mukta Ghai among the other pictures. The view of the cityscape from the balcony where the photo was taken was impressive.
At the dinner table with the Khalnayak cast, Nene took yet another selfie.
Fans were filled with nostalgia and anticipation for a 1993 movie sequel after seeing the images. "I hope there will be a movie for Khalnayak season 2 ????," one of them posted on social media.
