Kriti Sanon Engages with Audience Feedback for "Crew" at Mumbai Theater

Actress Kriti Sanon recently went to a Mumbai theater to hear directly from the crowd after her most recent movie, Crew, a drama focused on women that also stars Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan, was shown.

Kriti posted a video of her exchange on Instagram and captioned it, saying, "They laughed, I smiled! This affection is for my whole crew! Women! There is a lot of love and joy on this full flight. The actress went on to say that she enjoys seeing audience responses in person to learn "which bits they laugh at" and how "they respond."

"We are delighted to provide entertainment for all age groups and genders," the actress from Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya said.

In the video, Kriti is seen turning to face the viewers as the closing credits appear. For her performance, the actress received a round of applause and a standing ovation. Kriti addressed the audience while sporting a purple one-shoulder shirt and blue trousers. "It's so amazing to see a packed theater for a film led by women," she said. Everyone started laughing when she asked the audience what scene in the movie they found funny, and they all replied, "your landing."

People of all ages and genders had gathered to see the movie. A little child claimed to like Sifra from Kriti's most recent film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya as well as Divya Rana from Crew. The Mimi actress made everyone chuckle when she stated, "So sorry for that landing," during an interaction with a real-life pilot.

In the movie Crew, Kareena, Kriti, and Tabu portray “badass” air hostesses who, after months of not receiving payment from their airline, decide to acquire quick money by participating in a gold smuggling operation.

Crew, which was produced by Shobha, Anil, Ektaa R., and Rhea Kapoor, debuted in theaters on March 29. With an opening day income of Rs 20.07 crore globally, the heist comedy directed by Rajesh A Krishnan became the highest grossing opening day Hindi film ever for a female protagonist.
