Former captain Nasser Hussain has cautioned against writing off England in the next five-match Test series in India, despite the fact that the hosts would start as clear favorites, given their recent success with the "Bazball" strategy.

Ever after adopting the Bazball system, England has not lost a Test series. During this time, they have won thirteen of the eighteen Tests, losing four. India has not lost at home since 2012–2013.

"India are the favorites, but Bazball has never wavered in the face of adversity, and with Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum's excellent records, I wouldn't write them off," Nasser said to Sky Sports.

"Bazball has been very popular, particularly domestically, and the two hardest regions to tour are Australia and India. England will face enormous challenges in the future.

India is interested in seeing if this novel strategy performs at home. It will be exciting to see how this team performs against the Indian team, one of the best cricket teams right now. The match promises to be exciting.

Because Indian pitches are often sluggish, spin will be crucial once again. Michael Atherton, a former captain, believes that the Indian spin assault has more diversity.

"Spin will play a huge role if you go to India; it has in the past, and I assume it always will. India does has a potent seam assault as well.

The four spinners from India are not like the ones from England. They have Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja, two finger spinners with the left arm. They boast one of the best wrist spinners of all time in Ravichandran Ashwin, and they have wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav.

"After Jack Leach, who is a reliable left-arm spinner, England has three extremely inexperienced spinners in Tom Hartley, Shoaib Bashir, and Rehan Ahmed. They will have a unique task, but the selectors believe they have a bright future ahead of them," he said.
