Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, and the BJP and the whole saffron ecosystem has planned a major outreach of daylong activities throughout Bengal.

"The party's rank and file throughout Bengal will be busy with activities engaging as many people as possible from early morning to sunset. A BJP spokesperson said, "Our objective is even to ensure that no Hindu village is left out of the January 22 celebrations," adding that all activities will be planned "without political colour."

On January 22, Modi will conduct Ram Lalla's pran pratishta at Ayodhya.

The day will be gradually observed by the saffron environment. The BJP instructed its leaders in Bengal to choose Ram temples and clean them for seven days starting on January 14 in preparation for the festivities. According to sources, BJP leaders—particularly women—have done puja at hundreds of temples after they were cleansed.

Districts have a large number of Ram temples. We had requested that district units locate them, tidy them up, and do puja. On January 22, special pujas will be performed at the temples, according to a BJP official.

Large pictures of Lord Ram have been requested to be installed at these temples for a striking visual effect; the majority of these locations will host the live transmission of the ritual on Monday.

"A large portrait of Lord Ram will be erected at every location where devotional music will be played to begin the day. Up until 12:30 pm, when Narendra Modi ji participates in the consecration ritual, devotional music will be played. Massive TV sets or screens will be used for the event's screening. It is imperative that the ceremony be televised live," an East Burdwan BJP leader said.

"A rally featuring a portrait of Lord Ram would be held in the afternoon. Every Hindu community in the area would be visited by a group of kirtan singers who will be accompanying the demonstration, he said.

On the evening of January 22, the members of the BJP Mahila Morcha have been requested to make sure that every home in their respective localities lights at least five diyas, or clay lamps.

Agnimitra Paul, the state general secretary of the BJP, said, "We have asked people to organise puja in the morning and light at least five diyas in the evening."

According to a BJP spokesperson, there will be further activities after January 22. One of the many planned programs is the transportation of state residents to Ayodhya in stages.

On February 6, 5,000 individuals from Bengal are scheduled to be transported to Ayodhya by the Hindu Jagaran Manch and the RSS.

According to Sanjay Kumar Mondal of Hindu Jagaran Manch in south Bengal, "we are preparing the list of such devotees."

Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly and BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari stated: "The entire programme has been designed by Ram Janmobhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust.... I have already promised to send 100 people to Ayodhya every month to see the Ram temple." All we are doing is obeying instructions. Everyone need to participate in what is undoubtedly one of the most important days in the nation's history.

There will be celebrations at the Ram temple in Calcutta on Chittaranjan Avenue. "Three enormous displays will be installed both inside and outside our temple. The trustee of the Seth Soorajmull Jalan Trust, which oversees the temple, a school, a college, and a library, Bharat Jalan, said that the temple would also be lighted.

BJP politician and Jalan family member Shishir Bajoria said that Monday morning's Ayodhya festivities will include an apolitical rally from Ganesh Talkies to the Chittaranjan Avenue Ram temple.
