In her first web series, Lootere, Jai Mehta takes viewers to the coast of Somalia, an African country on the verge of civil conflict. A gang of vicious pirates takes over a ship carrying a load of contraband, raising tensions. Chaos engulfs the ship's owners, the intended receivers, and the crew, setting off a terrifying struggle for survival marked by violence and rising stakes. The showrunner for this suspenseful action drama is Hansal Mehta.

Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, owned by Karan Johar, Showtime is an engrossing drama about the inner workings of Bollywood. The show, directed by Sumit Roy, centers around Raghu Khanna (Emraan Hashmi), who runs Viktory Studios, a company named for his sick father Victor (Naseeruddin Shah). After their most recent movie bombed at the box office, Raghu starts buying off critics for his upcoming project. He is, however, publically humiliated by Mahika, a teenage journalist (Mahima Makwana). Raghu gets furious when he finds out that Mahika is Victor's granddaughter and inherits Viktroy Studio.

Big Girls Are Not Tearful

Cast: Afrah Sayed, Zoya Hussain, Dalai, Vidushi, Tenzin Lhakyila, Aneet Padda, Akshita Sood, Pooja Bhatt, and Avantika Vandanapu

Big Girls Don't Cry, which was created by Nitya Mehra and directed by Karan Kapadia, explores boarding school life and the sisterhood that exists within the dorms. Mehra is joined in the film by Sudhanshu Saria, Kopal Naithani, and Mehra. The show takes place behind the walls of the exclusive Vandana Valley Girls School, which is led by Anita Verma (Pooja Bhatt), a headmistress who is adamant about upholding the school's ideals. Any sort of revolt or manifestation of individuality is quickly put down under her watchful eye. The program depicts a group of girls navigating the rigorous headmistress's supervision during their stay at the boarding house.

Ma'amla Legal Ha

Cast: Anant V Joshi, Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grewal, and Ravi Kishan

Rahul Pandey's comedy courtroom drama Maamla Legal Hai is based on actual court cases. Through a blend of humor, strangeness, and moving scenes, the series provides an inside look at a Patparganj court's operations. Leading the charge is Ravi Kishan as astute attorney VD Tyagi, who uses legal wrangling to pursue the leadership of the Bar Association. The Harvard-educated barrister Ananya Shroff (Naila Grewal) faces the harsh realities of Patparganj's court scene. Sujata, played by Nidhi Bisht, aspires to have her own chamber despite not having enough cases. The court manager of Anant V Joshi, Vishwas Pandey, considers himself to be Donna Donna Paulson from Suits.
