Veteran Actress Shares Relationship Advice and Advocates Pet Adoption
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, veteran actress Zeenat Aman encouraged couples to "put their relationship to the ultimate test" by cohabitating for a while before getting married. She claimed to have offered her boys the same advice.
She stated in the article, "It is highly advised that you live together before getting married."
According to Zeenat, living together tests a couple's compatibility since it exposes them to the difficulties and reality of sharing a close life.
"It just makes sense to me that two people should put their relationship to the ultimate test before involving their families and the government in their situation," the 72-year-old actress added.
Zeenat continued her discussion regarding the challenges that frequently come up when working together on daily duties. Being the best version of yourself for a few hours a day is simple. Can you, however, share a bathroom? Absorb the tempest of a sour disposition? Have you decided what to have for supper each night? Maintain the flames in the bedroom? Work through the countless little disagreements that will certainly occur between two individuals who are close to one another?” she continued in her post.
Nonetheless, the actress understood the social disapproval of living together prior to marriage. She said, "I know Indian society can be a little stiff about 'living in sin,' but then again, society can be stiff about so many things."
Zeenat also discussed her opinions on pet adoption and rescue in her post. "Here's my madcap Lily having a caper in the garden this afternoon," the actress captioned a photo she shared of "a good ole desi dog" jumping around the yard. Lily is a typical desi puppy that was taken from Bombay's streets. She is my sweet shadow and the main cause behind my ardent support of pet adoption and rescue.
Zeenat last had an appearance with Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Kriti Sanon, and Ashutosh Gowarikar in the 2019 epic military film Panipat.
