Espionage Thriller 'Raktabeej' Set for Digital Premiere on Hoichoi
Victor Banerjee, Abir Chatterjee, and Mimi Chakraborty Lead in Intense Drama
The espionage thriller Raktabeej, directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy and starring Victor Banerjee, Abir Chatterjee, and Mimi Chakraborty, is scheduled to make its digital debut on Hoichoi on February 18, after a 100-day theatrical run. On the same day, the movie will debut globally on Star Jalsa.

Raktabeej, which debuted during Durga Puja last year, was compared to other notable films such as Koel Mallick's Jongole Mitin Mashi, Dev-starred Bagha Jatin, and Prosenjit's Dawshom Awbotaar.
The film, which is partially based on the 2014 explosions in Khagragarh, West Bengal, centers on IB officer Pankaj Sinha (Abir Chatterjee) and his partnership with police officer Sanjukta Roy (Mimi Chakraborty) to foil a plot by radicals to kill India's President, played by veteran actor Victor Banerjee.
Raktabeej's digital debut comes after the recent triumph of Dawshom Awbotaar, which debuted online earlier this month and is now available for streaming on Hoichoi.
