The Bear, Succession, and Beef were the top winners in the television categories at the 81st Golden Globe Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on January 8. Take a peek at the winners below.

With its first-time winners, Netflix's Beef shines.


The popular limited series Beef on Netflix co-stars Ali Wong and Steven Yeun won their first Golden Globes. Yeun won the medal for Best Actor in a Limited Series, and Wong was awarded Best Actress in a Limited Series. Wong thanked her former spouse Justin Hakuta for his affection and assistance throughout her time as a working mother. Amidst cheers from his colleagues, Steven Yeun connected winning the prize to the storyline of Frozen during his acceptance speech.

Beef on Netflix took home the Best Limited Series trophy as well. The show's creator, Lee Sung Jin, acknowledged that a genuine road rage incident served as inspiration for the program and humorously thanked the driver in question.

Macfadyen and Debicki are awarded for supporting roles.

The Crown on Netflix included Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, and she took home the Golden Globe for best supporting actress in a television series. She gave a speech in which she thanked the creators. For Succession, which is currently available on JioCinema, Matthew Macfadyen, who earned an award for best supporting television actor, jokingly referred to his character as a "weird and wonderful human grease stain."

In the comedy category, The Bear roars loudest.

With The Bear, available to stream onDisney+ Hotstar, Jeremy Allen White won his second straight Golden Globe for outstanding actor in a television comedy. The highly regarded HBO series Succession won the Golden Globe for best drama series, defeating formidable competitors like The Crown, The Diplomat, and Last of Us. The cast members of the program, Matthew Macfadyen and Sarah Snook, won awards for Best Television Female Actor – Drama Series and Best Supporting Male Actor – Television, respectively. At one humorous point, Culkin said, "Take that, Pedro," in reference to fellow contender Pedro Pascal. I own this one."
