96th Academy Awards to Air Live in India at 5.30 AM on March 11
Ceremony Starts One Hour Earlier Than Usual, Pre-Show Begins at 5.00 AM
The Academy announced on Friday that the 96th Academy Awards ceremony will be broadcast live in India at 5.30am on March 11, one hour earlier than usual.
The 96th Academy Awards are set to take place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on March 10 and will be televised live on ABC in the United States and more than 200 other countries.
The yearly awards ceremony is scheduled for March 11 from 7.30 am IST to 10:30 pm ET / 4 pm to 7:30 pm PT. A 30-minute pre-show, which begins at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT (5 a.m. IST on March 11 in India), will set the scene for the main event.

"Join us for the Oscars at a new time next year: • The 96th Oscars at 7e/4p • Pre-show beginning at 6:30 p.m. On Sunday, March 10th at 7 p.m., tune in to ABC to watch the Oscars LIVE," the Academy's official Instagram account stated.
Jimmy Kimmel, a well-known television personality, will host the Oscars for the fourth time this year. Showrunner and executive producer Raj Kapoor will lead the program, working with executive producers Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan. The telecast is slated to be directed by Hamish Hamilton.
The 81st Golden Globes will air live in the US on CBS and stream onParamount+ at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT (6.30 am IST on January 8 in India). The event is scheduled to take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on January 7.
On December 11, the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards nominees will be revealed. The Golden Globes host has not yet been revealed. In 2023, Jerrod Carmichael hosted the event.
