The film, which was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, debuted on April 10—Eid—in theaters. It was up against Maidaan, starring Ajay Devgn, which debuted in theaters on April 11.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's box office performance has been lackluster despite its holiday release; it has only managed to gross little over Rs 111 crore globally, with domestic profits coming in at Rs 65 crore nett.
Akshay Kumar plays special agent Firoz in the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Tiger Shroff plays Rakesh. As they go up against Kabir (Prithviraj Sukumaran), the two go by the code names Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan. The plot centers on Bade and Chote Miyan's race against time to stop Kabir from unleashing genetically altered soldiers to wreak havoc on India.
In addition, Ronit Roy, Alay F, Manushi Chhillar, and Sonakshi Sinha play significant parts in the suspenseful action thriller.
