In order to find any evidence of misconduct in the ministries, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Saturday that an investigation into the activities of a few former RJD ministers, including Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the deputy chief minister at the time, had been ordered.

Nitish said that Lalit Yadav and Ramanand Yadav, in addition to Tejashwi, were the three former RJD ministers under investigation.

"Everything is questioned about me. Investigating any incidents when anything goes wrong is essential. We don't tolerate wrongdoing," Nitish said.

Six government departments will be the subject of the investigation: rural works, mining and geology, health, urban development and housing, and road building. The choices made by the three ministers will be examined. In this respect, directives have already been released by the cabinet secretariat department.

In a speech to the assembly earlier this week, Nitish pledged to look into the alleged misdeeds of many RJD ministers from the previous administration.

The head of JDU further criticized Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, and the INDIA bloc for "not paying heed" to his recommendations.

"I really worked hard at it. I had proposed a different name and wasn't even in favor of the one that was chosen—INDIA. However, they gave the alliance any name they chose. Is anything going on in there right now? That is how things are continuing. On the fringes of a ceremony marking the passing anniversary of former Bihar chief minister Karpoori Thakur, who was recently given the Bharat Ratna posthumously, Nitish informed reporters that "it has virtually ended."

After leaving the NDA in August 2022, Nitish was a member of the Mahagathbandhan administration in Bihar, and he is largely credited for creating the INDIA bloc. Last month, he went back to the NDA.

Rahul, who had lambasted Nitish in his public speeches while in Bihar earlier this week as part of his ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, came under fire from the chief minister.

"What Rahul says is meaningless. I had offered him a lot of suggestions, but he had turned them down. He is discussing a census based on caste. Here, we carried out a survey based on caste. Nitish said, "I used to beg him to speak about the significant progressive stride made by Bihar at the (INDIA) meetings, but nobody noticed it.

The chief minister emphasized that the government is now working to assist the underprivileged and that the caste-based survey also assessed the people's economic situation.

The chief minister of Bihar rejected remarks made by RJD president Lalu Prasad indicating that he would always welcome Nitish.

"Never engage with what others are saying. As previously, we have united (with the NDA) and are collaborating for Bihar's betterment. I say hello to everyone I meet. I just do it out of habit. As I was leaving the Assembly, Lalu and her family were entering. We exchanged pleasantries. This does not imply that we are uniting. When we were together before, not everything was going great. Nitish said, "So I left."

The Bihar police's economic crimes branch has begun looking into claims that JDU lawmakers were abducted before to the trust vote and were promised money to swap allegiance. At the Kotwali police station in Patna, a formal complaint has been filed.
