Dunki Teaser Released: Shah Rukh Khan and Friends Turn Serious Obstacles Into Hilarious Hurdles
Hirani-Directed Comedy-Drama Expected to Hit Theaters This December
Rajkumar Hirani's comedy-drama Dunki features a teaser featuring Shah Rukh Khan's character Hardy and his friends turning serious obstacles into hilarious hurdles as they pursue their dream of traveling to London. Red Chillies Entertainment released the teaser on November 2, the Bollywood star's birthday.
In the one minute and 47 second video, Shah Rukh and his friends attempt to cross a desert together while Sonu Nigam's song plays in the background. The action then shifts to Vikram Kochhar's Buggu, who makes a life-threatening vow to never consider visiting London. Shah Rukh can also be seen giving it his all while dancing to a punjabi song with onlookers and wrestlers alike.
The teaser also makes reference to Shah Rukh's role in the 2013 film Chennai Express, in which he wears sunglasses and a backpack.
The teaser was also posted on Instagram by Shah Rukh. "A narrative about common people attempting to realize their goals and aspirations. Of companionship, affection, and friendship... Of being in a partnership named "Home!" he captioned the picture.

Shah Rukh wrote, "It's an honour to be a part of this journey and I hope you all come along with us," referring to Hirani as a "heartwarming storyteller."
Anil Grover, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Boman Irani, and Taapsee Pannu are also featured in Dunki, which is the first joint venture between Hirani and Shah Rukh. Kanika Dhillon, Rajkumar Hirani, and Abhijat Joshi wrote it.
This December, Dunki is expected to hit theaters.
