Four Killed in Tanker Explosion in Thane, Case of Negligence Registered

According to a police official, on Sunday, a complaint of negligently causing death and other offenses was filed in connection with a tanker explosion that killed four people and injured three more at a company in Shahad, Thane district.

On Saturday morning, the tanker was being checked out before being filled when an explosion happened.

A criminal case has been filed against three people, according to the Ulhasnagar police control room official, even though no one has been taken into custody.

The owner, the tanker driver, and a member of the company's management make up the three individuals, the official continued.

He stated that a thorough investigation of the matter is ongoing.
