Four Killed, Seven Injured in SUV-Bus Collision on Assam's National Highway 17
Accident Happened in Gulianpara Area of Goalpara District
A accident between an SUV and a bus in the Goalpara region of Assam on Monday resulted in four fatalities and seven injuries, according to authorities.
According to them, the collision happened on National Highway 17 in the district's Gulianpara neighborhood.
They said that the SUV was approaching from the other direction, and the bus was traveling from Guwahati to Goalpara.
The SUV was carrying all of the deceased. Two passengers in the SUV passed away while receiving care at the Rongjuli Primary Health Center, while the driver of the vehicle passed away immediately. According to authorities, a passenger passed away while being sent to Guwahati for medical attention because of his serious condition.
The other patients were receiving care at the Goalpara Civil Hospital, with two more patients who had more severe injuries being transported to Guwahati. One of the injured was a scooter rider who was going through the area.
