Gadar 2 to release on ZEE5 on October 6
Sunny Deol-led movie to begin streaming on the digital platform in two days
ZEE5 will begin broadcasting the Sunny Deol-led movie "Gadar 2" on October 6, the website announced on Wednesday.
In the Anil Sharma-directed movie, Deol played Tara Singh again, the iconic character he originated in the 2001 film "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha."
The film, which was made by Zee Studios, also stars Ameesha Patel reprising her role as Sakeena and Utkarsh Sharma as Charanjeet.
On its official X page, Zee Entertainment Enterprises' streaming service ZEE5 shared the news of the digital launch.
"The countdown has started! Tara Singh is ready to gain your affection! In only two days, India's Biggest Blockbuster will air on #ZEE5! Gadar 2 on ZEE5," the post from ZEE5 read.
The movie "Gadar 2" premiered on August 11. The historical action thriller in Hindi has so already grossed almost Rs 500 crore, making it one of the biggest box office hits since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Simrat Kaur, Gaurav Chopra, and Manish Wadhwa also acted in the movie.
