Jyotika has shared behind-the-scenes photos from Shaitaan's sets with co-stars Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan, thanking the entire crew on the film's box office success. On Wednesday, the supernatural thriller surpassed the Rs 150-crore milestone worldwide.
Jyotika posted a touching collage of images from the Shaitaan sets on Instagram. Her words in the post's caption read, "Some movies are just places! However, Shaitaan was a voyage filled with joy, recollections, inventiveness, talent, and lifelong friendships. I am grateful that Devgn films, Panorama Studios, and Jio Studios allowed me to be a part of this rewarding experience. Congratulations to the entire group.
In 1998, Jyotika made her final appearance in a Hindi movie, Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, starring alongside Akshaye Khanna and directed by Priyadarshan.
Shaitaan, which is helmed by Vikas Bahl, made a solid debut on March 8 in India, grossing Rs 14.75 nett. In its first week of release, the movie brought in Rs 79.75 crore net. At the domestic box office, the supernatural thriller held its own against Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha in the second week, earning Rs 111.8 crore nett in 13 days.
After Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's Fighter, Shaitaan is the second Hindi film of 2024 to reach the Rs 150-crore milestone in global receipts.
