Kuldeep Yadav's Stellar Performance Continues to Dominate After India's Victory Over Pakistan

Four days after India destroyed Pakistan, Kuldeep Yadav's incisive performance in Ahmedabad is still hypnotizing the opposition.

Chinaman has long been Pakistan's arch-enemy; his dismissal of Babar Azam at the last World Cup at Old Trafford is still seen as a classic example of a wrist spinner misleading a batter.

Kuldeep is simply not satisfied with holding down the batters in the middle overs after assuming the role of a more aggressive bowler in this season. Rohit Sharma has things little simpler thanks to his natural attacking instincts.

Wasim Akram had threatened their batters before the match on a Pakistani TV show that "he will bother us" (Tang karega). The collapse was actually brought on by Kuldeep's two wickets of Saud Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed in the 33rd over, after Babar and Mohammad Rizwan had been dismissed by Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah, respectively.

Both Babar and Rizwan attempted the sweep after Kuldeep delivered 17 dots in his first five overs in an effort to escape the prison. Kuldeep's LBW appeal was denied, yet he didn't act desperate. Kuldeep was made because of Shakeel's dismissal since the batsman stopped in his crease while Iftikhar ought to have been more watchful.

The batters no longer have enough time to read him off the pitch because to his increased pace, vicious turn, and drift. It makes sense why Bangladeshi batsmen tried to practice at the nets against left-arm tweakers.

"Kuldeep has worked on a number of projects. You can see how we worked with him to improve his action in the way he bowls. He has increased his speed. His accuracy is excellent; he frequently hits those distances... He is a potential wicket-taker for us, according to bowling coach Paras Mhambrey's statement on Wednesday.

Given that he had to go through a five-month recuperation period after having knee surgery in 2021, has the mental part also been addressed?

"It's crucial to be in the proper state of mind and environment... And on that, too, we worked," he remarked.

The outcomes are evident. This year, Kuldeep has taken 38 wickets in 20 ODIs. Teams were compelled to revise preparations due to his growing threat. The way Bangladesh responds to him may determine how Thursday turns out.
