Hungary’s Striker Adam Finds Humor in Social Media’s Fascination with His Size
Despite the fact that some of them go too far, Hungary striker Martin Adam is not shocked to see social media memes regarding his unusually enormous size because modern football players are often slender and nimble in order to keep up with the demands of the fast-paced game.
Adam caused a commotion online when he entered the game as a substitute late in Hungary's opening 3-1 loss to Switzerland in Cologne. Fans were taken aback to see a man who was around 86 kilograms and 6 feet 3 inches tall sprint onto the field.
The Ulsan Hyundai forward is also known as the "Hungarian Viking" because of his thick ginger beard and shaved head.
