On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that "what we saw" at Ayodhya would live on in our memory for years to come, after the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple.
Modi posted a video montage of the occasion at the Ayodhya temple where a new idol of Ram Lalla was dedicated in a post on X.
Along with the video, Modi said in his post, "What we saw in Ayodhya yesterday, January 22, will be etched in our memories for years to come."

Modi issued a bold plea on Monday to lay the groundwork for a "strong, capable, and divine" India that would exist for the next 1,000 years, going beyond the building of the grand mandir.
Modi said that a new era had begun with the temple's opening, which represented the end of a decades-long struggle to recapture a contentious holy site in Ayodhya.
Watching the historic pran pratishtha (consecration) ritual on television at home and at nearby temples, thousands of Hindus relished the occasion.
