Nitish Kumar Challenges BJP to Dissolve JDU, Invites President Murmu to Launch Bihar's 4th Agriculture Roadmap

Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, announced on Monday that President Droupadi Murmu had been invited to introduce the state's fourth agriculture road map.

In addition, he challenged the BJP to actually dissolve his Janata Dal United (JDU) rather than just making empty declarations to that effect.

The fourth Bihar agriculture road map, according to the chief minister, would be unveiled by President Droupadi Murmu.

"The road map for agriculture is complete, and we must put it into practice. From 2008 through 2012, we put the first one of these road maps into action. In 2012 and 2017, we had invited the Indian President to the road map debuts. This time, the President has also been invited. We gave her a call. She is now announcing the dates. The debut date will be set by her, according to Nitish.

The second agriculture road map for the state was introduced by the then-president Pranab Mukherjee in 2012, and the third agriculture road map was introduced by the then-president Ram Nath Kovind in November 2017.

Nitish found it challenging to comprehend media queries over recent statements made by prominent Bihar BJP figures, such as Samrat Choudhary, the state unit president, Vijay Kumar Sinha, and Rajya Sabha member Sushil Kumar Modi, predicting an impending split in the JDU.

Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader who was standing next to him, rescued him and clarified the query.

"Ask them to break it (JDU) if they (BJP) wish to. It will be excellent. These are meaningless, useless things. But since they are widely known, I no longer pay attention to them, Nitish argued.

The chief minister told media to congratulate the BJP if the JDU was cracking at all after paying floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi in Patna on his birthday.

He continued, "It (BJP) has destroyed all of you and is now plotting to destroy us."

Ranvir Nandan, a former MLC who was said to be close to Nitish, left the JDU last week. On October 11, he is anticipated to join the BJP.

Another senior party leader is anticipated to follow suit, the political scene is buzzing with this news.
