One Piece Season 2 Casts Baroque Works Villains
David Dastmalchian has been cast as Baroque Works agent Mr 3 in Netflix live-action series One Piece Season 2.

The actors who will portray the four Baroque Works agents in Netflix's live-action series One Piece Season 2 have been unveiled.

Daniel Lasker, star of Raised by Wolves, will play Mr. 9, while David Dastmalchian, star of Late Night with the Devil, has been hired as the crafty wax manipulator Mr 3. Mr. 5 will be played by Camrus Johnson from Batwoman, and Miss Valentine will be portrayed by warrior actress Jazzara Jaslyn.

On Tuesday, the show's creators posted collages of each actor with their individual characters from the anime adaptation alongside the words, "Out of the shadows comes your first look at who's playing the Baroque Works agents."

In the well-known manga by Eiichiro Oda, the four characters play important roles in the criminal organization Baroque Works. The Warlord Crocodile is in charge of the covert organization. But the actor who has been cast to play Crocodile hasn't been named yet. Additionally, the identity of Nico Robin, Crocodile's partner, has not been revealed.

The events leading up to the Arabasta Arc in the manga will probably be covered in One Piece Season 2. Monkey D. Luffy, the ambitious pirate king, was portrayed by Iűaki Godoy in the first season of the live-action One Piece series. Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, Taz Skylar, and Roronoa Zoro, the members of Luffy's Straw Hat pirate crew, were portrayed by these actors, respectively. For the second season, all of them are returning to their original roles and will face off against the members of Baroque Works.

The narrative, which is set in a pirate's world, centers on Monkey D. Luffy, a young child who, along with his eccentric crew, sets out on a treacherous quest to locate the fabled prize One Piece across the Grand Line.

Toei Animation Studios created the manga series' anime adaptation, which got underway in 1997. With more over a thousand episodes, it debuted on Fuji TV in October 1999 and is currently available for streaming.

The One Piece live-action series, which was co-directed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda, dominated Netflix's top 10 worldwide list for many weeks following its August 31 premiere.
