Details Revealed About Prabhas' 24th Film in His Career
The makers announced on Friday that actor Prabhas will work with Telugu filmmaker Maruthi on an upcoming feature film.
The film, which will mark Prabhas' 24th feature film career, was revealed on the microblogging platform X by the production banner People Media Factory.
The film's first trailer and title will be unveiled during the Pongal festival in January 2024, according to the studio.
"With pride, People Media Factory presents the dinosaur that has been transformed into an incredible beauty. On Pongal, the First Look and Title will be revealed. It posted, "#Prabhas #PrabhasPongalFeast."
Having directed movies like "Ee Rojullo," "Bus Stop," "Shailaja Reddy Alludu," "Manchi Rojulochaie," and "Pakka Commercial," Maruthi expressed his excitement about working with Prabhas on the next project.
"I'm thrilled and have been looking forward to this day for a while! I'm excited to introduce Rebel Star #Prabhas in this new avatar. See you all on X for Pongal #PrabhasPongalFeast," wrote the director.
Currently starring, Prabhas is part of the film "Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire" directed by Prashanth Neel, which has taken in over Rs 500 crore globally.
His next film role will be in Nag Ashwin's "Kalki 2898 AD," which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. In 2024, the movie is slated for release.
