Actress Preity Zinta made headlines lately when she made her second red carpet appearance at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival in southern France, wearing a sequined pink sari created by Seema Gujral.
The 49-year-old actress accessorized her shimmering sari with an embellished sleeveless blouse and Chopard statement earrings for the May 25 screening of Michel Hazanavicius's La Plus Precieuse des Marchandises, or The Most Precious of Cargoes.

She accessorized her appearance with a nude lip color and kohl-rimmed eyes, showcasing her wavy hair.
During her inaugural Cannes appearance this year, Preity looked stunning in a backless white column gown.
Currently in Cannes, Preity is giving Indian cinematographer Santosh Sivan, who collaborated with her on Mani Ratnam's 1998 picture Dil Se, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan, the Pierre Angenieux Award. They are getting back together for her next movie, Lahore 1947, which also stars Sunny Deol and Shabana Azmi in important parts.

Lahore 1947, which is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, brings Sunny and Preity back together. They have worked together on movies like Dillagi (1999), The Hero: Love Story of a Spy (2003), Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke (2001), Farz (2001), and Heroes (2008).
In 2006, Preity attended the premieres of Paris, Je T'aime and The Wind That Shakes the Barley, marking her Cannes debut. As the high-end watch company Chopard's brand ambassador, she attended the festival in 2013.
