On Wednesday, Congressman Rahul Gandhi's "Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra" is set to reenter West Bengal from Bihar.

Monday marked the end of the yatra's first leg in West Bengal as it moved from Islampur into Bihar.

Around 11.15 am, according to party officials, it would re-enter West Bengal via Debipur and Ratua in the Malda district in the state's northern section.

Following the flag-transfer ceremony, the yatra will continue from Ratua stadium and go to Sujapur, where Gandhi will give a speech to the populace before to a nightly stop.

It will reach Murshidabad on February 1 and leave the state the following day.

The yatra has traveled 523 kilometers across six West Bengal districts so far, including Uttar Dinajpur, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, and Alipurduar. Malda and Murshidabad are scheduled to be included in the second phase, according to the organizers.

Gandhi engaged with the people along the road, receiving a warm response as he passed through North Bengal, a former Congress stronghold.

The leaders of the Congress said that they were facing difficulties similar to those in BJP-ruled states like Assam and Manipur when trying to get permission for public meetings and make hotel reservations in the districts of Jalpaiguri, Malda, and Murshidabad in TMC-ruled Bengal, which is still their ally at the national level.

Commencing in Manipur on January 14, the "Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra" is slated to traverse 110 districts across 15 states and travel

6,713 miles in 67 days, concluding on March 20 in Mumbai.
