On the microblogging site, fans responded to the photos by expressing how happy they were to see the two celebrities. Even though decades may go by, their love for one another never changes. One of them wrote, "Lucky to witness such Legendary friendship," under Lyca Productions' post.
Following the triumph of Nelson Dilipkumar's Jailer, Rajinikanth is presently filming Thalaivar 170, directed by TJ Gnanavel. The movie, which also stars Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, and Amitabh Bachchan, is scheduled for release in 2024.
In contrast, Kamal Haasan is now filming Indian 2, the follow-up to S. Shankar's popular 1996 film Indian. Key parts are also played by Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Kajal Aggarwal. The soundtrack for the film was composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
