Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal to stream on Netflix from Republic Day
Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur is also slated for its digital release on the same day
Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal, which grossed Rs 917 crore globally, will be available to stream on Netflix from January 26.
“The air is dense and the temperature is rising. Witness his wild rage in Animal, streaming from 26 January on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada,” the streaming platform wrote on Instagram alongside a video teaser of the film.
The Sandeep Reddy Vanga-helmed actioner hit theatres on December 1, 2023. It explores the troubled relationship between a father and son. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, and Shakti Kapoor in pivotal roles.
While Animal garnered box office success, it courted controversy for allegedly glorifying misogyny and violence.
Incidentally, Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur, which also hit theatres on December 1, will also be vying for audience on Republic Day. The Meghna Gulzar-helmed biopic of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw will be streaming on ZEE5.
