On March 16, prominent figures from the film and music industries gathered at the Paschimbanga Bangla Academy on Rabindra Sadan to celebrate the introduction of a smart card that will undoubtedly revolutionize the way you listen to music. Purnendu Bikas Sarkar invented the smart album, a tangible smart plastic card that gives you instant access to music and other entertainment options without requiring you to search for the song on digital media.

One side of the Smart Album card features a QR code, while the other side is printed with the name of the song or album, the artist's name, photo, and other information. Now, all that needs to be done is use a smartphone scanner to scan the QR code on the Smart Album. This will take the user to an online album where the music can be listened to. Additionally, a jacket is included with the Smart Album to help preserve it.

Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, poet Subodh Sarkar, singer Pramita Mallick, director Shoojit Sircar, and vocalist Rupam Islam were present during the Bangla Academy launch. The man of the moment, Purnendu Bikas Sarkar, gave an audio-visual demonstration of Smart Album's capabilities. Artists put up a great deal of effort to share their skill with us, yet they rarely receive the recognition they deserve. Additionally, it's challenging to locate quite specialized tunes online. There is an answer to this in Smart Album. The music will play on its own without any more physical intervention simply scanning the code on the card to access the digital album, he added.

Shoojit Sircar made the following statement during the launch: "This initiative deserves a lot of recognition." It is admirable that Dr. Basu is so passionate about art and artists, and the fact that he accomplished this feat on his own, without financial assistance or the expectation of financial reward, is proof of that. I'm sending him my best wishes on this endeavor.

"I listen to all kinds of music on all kinds of platforms," said Rupam Islam. I'm a record, CD, and cassette collector, so it's a huge accomplishment that we can now own a physical copy of our favorite tunes as a card in the digital age. This card, in my opinion, is only the beginning. It will undoubtedly continue to develop and work its magic in the music industry in the future.

"The idea itself is a really intriguing one. Now, listening to audiobooks, poetry, and songs will be simpler. The best part, according to Subodh Sarkar, is that the cards are incredibly affordable, making them easily accessible to anyone who wants them.
