Director and Actor Team Up Again Nearly 17 Years After Their Last Collaboration
Filmmaker Siddharth Anand shared some photos of himself with Budapest, Hungary-born actor Saif Ali Khan, where they are now filming a movie.
"Back on set with my hero of the beginning! How come nothing seems to be changing? Hehe! Love you, Saif," the 45-year-old filmmaker said in addition to images of the two of them.
The pair is seen twinning in black and posing for photographers in the center of the city in the first photo. They are deeply engaged in a conversation in the second image.
"Lord ki Jay ho," Arjun Kapoor commented in the comments section. Excited responses from fans flooded the comments section upon the duo's reappearance. "The former pair is back," one of them posted. Siddharth and Saif are expected to work together again after almost 17 years on the action-thriller Jewel Thief, which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat. This was reported earlier in the year.
Saif and Siddharth have worked together on movies such as Tara Rum Pum and Salaam Namaste.
IMDb states that Robbie Grewal will be directing Jewel Thief. Siddharth and Grewal will collaborate to write the script. The film, which is supported by Siddharth's Marflix Pictures, is said to center on a lethal robbery that Saif and Ahlawat's characters undertake.
