SRK skips Salman's birthday tweet but reveals personal wish, calls 2023 his best year yet
(L-R) Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan.

Salman Khan received Shah Rukh Khan's birthday wish in person rather than via a hastily written social media post, the Bollywood actor disclosed on Wednesday during a #AskSRK session on X.

A fan had tried to remind the Dunki star of Salman's birthday, so he gave an explanation for not wishing him a happy birthday on special media for his Pathaan and Tiger 3 co-star. "I have wished for him, and I know." Since it's personal, I don't do it on social media, right? He posted on the microblogging site, "Waise yeh picture bhai ki awesome hai."

As he had recently lost a VR game and needed some time to "recuperate, regroup, and do a rematch," Shah Rukh asked fans to submit 20 "happy" questions to start his #AskSRK session.

When asked what the best aspects of the current year were, Shah Rukh responded, "The entire year has been the best in my career," acknowledging that 2023 has been an incredibly successful year for him professionally. “"Not just any part of 2023 was the best!..."

Shah Rukh broke box office records once more with Atlee's Jawan, which went on to earn an incredible Rs 1146 crore worldwide, following Siddharth Anand's Pathaan, which became the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2023. In the face of the Salaar assault both domestically and internationally, his Christmas release Dunki is holding its own.

When asked how he handles people writing "nonsense" about him, the Bollywood actor responded in a tone that was both humorous and dejected, emphasizing that he bases his work on beliefs rather than opinions. You've probably heard the adage, 'Opinions are like ______s, everyone has one,' right? My friend, I focus on beliefs rather than opinions.

In response to another fan's query, Shah Rukh also selected Dunki—his first film with Rajkumar Hirani—as the most challenging of the year's hits. Anil Grover, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Boman Irani, and Taapsee Pannu are among the cast members of Dunki, which debuted in theaters on December 21.
