Veteran players Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, Mel Jones, Harsha Bhogle, and Ian Bishop will be leading the team.

Following his team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru,'s IPL campaign, Dinesh Karthik announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He will co-host the event with the United States and the West Indies from June 2–29.

In addition to fellow 50-over World Cup champions Ricky Ponting, Matthew Hayden, Ramiz Raja, Eoin Morgan, Tom Moody, and Wasim Akram, the renowned Sunil Gavaskar will provide his professional insight.

American pundit James O'Brien, also known as Jomboy, will be making his World Cup debut. His goal will be to provide the American audience with context for the games.

Along with Ebony Rainford-Brent, Samuel Badree, Carlos Brathwaite, Steve Smith, Aaron Finch, and Lisa Sthalekar, other well-known figures on the team include Dale Steyn, Michael Atherton, and Shaun Pollock.
