Suriya Sivakumar Unveils Posters for Upcoming Film 'Meiyazhagan' Starring Karthi
Suriya and Jyotika to Produce Under 2D Entertainment; C. Prem Kumar Directs After Six-Year Hiatus
On May 25, Karthi's elder brother, actor-producer Suriya Sivakumar, shared two posters for the upcoming film Meiyazhagan, which he is starring in with Tamil actor C. Prem Kumar.
Suriya and his spouse Jyotika will produce Meiyazhagan under their own label, 2D Entertainment.

One of the posters features Karthi smirking while gazing into a bull's eyes. Suriya uploaded the second poster, which shows Karthi and Arvind Swami riding bicycles.
Karthi also shared the posters, explaining in his caption what the title meant. Meiy + Azhagan equals #Meiyazhagan. What's in our hearts is always beautiful. Read the actor's note on X, "#மெய்யழகன்."

C. Prem Kumar returns to directing Meiyazhagan, following a six-year hiatus with the release of 2018's '96. Govind Vasantha is set to compose the music for the film starring Karthi and Arvind Swamy.
Suriya, who plays two roles, will soon be seen in Siva's Kanguva. Bobby Deol and Disha Patani make their Tamil film debuts in this fantasy action movie, which also features important parts from Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K. S. Ravikumar, and B. S. Avinashin. Later this year, Kanguva will be available in IMAX, 3D, and regular formats.
Suriya recently announced that he would make a brief appearance in Sarfira, the Hindi version of Soorarai Pottru, which stars Akshay Kumar in the titular role.
